Network error: remote side closed connection

An this on /var/log/authlog

Mar 23 09:48:49 zebra sshd[7803]: Failed password for root from 127.0.0.1 port 51116 ssh2
Mar 23 09:48:54 zebra sshd[7803]: Failed password for root from 127.0.0.1 port 51116 ssh2

Hi again...

I see this message on Convirt Web:

Notification:Java applet should be enabled in the browser for VNC.
VNC display Information:

Managed Server - 192.168.200.74
VNC Display Port - 5900

Port Forwarding Information:

VNC Host - 0.0.0.0
VNC Forwarded Port - 5901

And on server 192.168.200.74 I check if vnc port is running:

netstat -atpn | grep :59

And this is the result:

tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:5900 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 13993/qemu-dm

So, the Java VNC try connect on port 5901, but this port do not exist on server...

How can I change the behavior of VNC Forward???

Thanks

Did u change development.ini vnc ports from 6900 range to 5900 range ?
Also, summarize any changes you have made so far.. so we can start from basics.

We recently released a patch bundle, I would recommend you to apply that.

After changing VNC port number from 6900:6999 to 5900:6999 in development.ini file and restarting Convirt, I got following error:

Network error: no route to server: <CMS server host name>

On the web interface:

VNC Host: VMS_Server_Name
VNC Port: 5901
VNC forwarded port: managed_server:5929

On the managed server, there are only 5900-5904,5908 ports open. 5929 does not exist.

1. Please refresh the browser as per instructions (shift + reload/refresh/F5).
2. Once you get the ConVirt working,
Select a managed server where the VM is running,
Select Edit Server,
provide password and make sure the User SSH Key check box is checked.
Press OK.
Now select VM running on this managed server. And click console.

Let us know if this still does not resolve the VNC issue for you.
