We are now live and transmitting!

The blog is live … finally! This has been long overdue … which is in itself a bit of a surprise given the constant exhortations, encouragement and insistent reminders from users, community members and friends over the past months to start blogging and talking more about what we have been up to, and where we are going.

Well, ConVirt 1.0 is now out. It is by far the most feature-rich, polished, easiest to install and configure release we’ve ever done. We are absolutely thrilled to get it into your hands and excitedly look forward to hearing your opinion. So, one might suppose this is as good a time as any to kick off our blog.

Over the following weeks and months, watch this space for ConVirt news and announcements, technical howto’s, tips and tricks as well as feature walkthroughs and screencasts.

In addition to stuff to help you get the maximum out of ConVirt, look for thoughts on various technical topics from Jaydeep Marfatia (known to most in the community simply as ‘jd’). Jaydeep is a co-founder of the project, the current Project Lead and overall technical heart and soul of ConVirt. He is also a co-founding EVP at Convirture.

Every now and then, Arsalan Farooq, our CEO, will also drop in with commentary and analysis on a wide variety of issues affecting the industry, open source software and Convirture. Knowing Arsalan, he is sure to draw a lively debate when he does!

It’s great to have another avenue of conversation with the ConVirt community. We hope you will continue to participate with your opinion, suggestions, comments and support.
